what’s a good website to get book summaries from the backs of the books?

This is not homework related.
Actually im already out of school.
Truthfully I don’t have much to do for a bit and I hardly read over the school year so I’m reading over the Summer.
And i need to copy down the book summaries from the back of the book.

Accounting Books at a Discount

imageWhether you need accounting books, algebra books or even an abnormal psychology textbook, directtextbook.com has you covered for all your text needs.  We all know that buying our textbooks from the college bookstore can be pretty taxing on the wallet.  It is not uncommon for a semester’s worth of algebra books to cost a few hundred dollars! With all of the other fees that schooling often requires, such as room and board, tuition and more, you may be feeling pretty run down before the semester even starts.  Directtextbook.com has the solution.  We offer accounting books and more for a fraction of the price of college bookstores.  Our site is convenient, too.  All you need is (preferably) the ISBN number, or you can use the author’s name or title of the book.  Type one of these pieces of information into our search bar and you will find a list of books that match your criteria.  If you do not have the ISBN number, it is helpful to know the edition you need to be sure you are buying the correct abnormal psychology textbook, or any other text for your courses. Once you have found the book that you need, select a seller from the list that has your accounting books in stock.  There are usually a myriad of sellers to choose from, and it is easy to find a great price, as well as shipping methods that fit your needs.  Often sellers have more than one headquarters from which they ship, which often makes shipping quicker if you pick the closest location and read the conditions. Directtextbook.com even has coupons that you can use to get a steeper discount on your order.  After selecting the seller you want to make a purchase from, go to the link that says; “Bookstore coupons,” and look for your seller on the list.  You can often get a percentage off your total order with these coupons.  Standard shipping is often free, too! If you are interested in renting books or selling them back at the end of the semester, there are options to do this on directtextbook.com.  Renting textbooks could be a great bet for someone who would like to pay less than they would to purchase, and takes impeccable care of their algebra books. Check the conditions of each seller’s rental agreements to make sure you know what is expected of you with book rentals.  Selling textbooks back can be a great idea, too.  Often, if your books are in gently used condition, sellers may buy them back from you at the end of the semester for a percentage of what you originally paid.

where have all the Ottakar book shops gone?

I have book vouchers for Ottakars that I want to spend ( I received them as a gift). However, I do not know where any of their shops are, and the one shop I can remember seems to have disappeared.
Did Ottakars get bought out by Waterstones? If so, will Waterstones accept Ottakars gift vouchers?

If there are no shops near me, how can I use their vouchers online?

Hitlers War – 3/12

Buy the DVD here! www.irvingbooks.com This is an excellent documentary about World War 2, from Adolf Hitlers point of view: Why Hitler did what he did, how he rationalized his actions, what he secretly wanted and what not, what he thought of the major issues of the world. The documentary shows to viewers what Hitler knew, based on the documents he received, and how and why he therefore acted the way he did. This documentary is based on the book “Hitler’s War”, by the British historian David Irving. www.fpp.co.uk The book, as well as the documentary, is definitely one of the best WW2 books. It really does keep one on the edge of his chair while reading. “BRITISH HISTORIAN David Irving wrote the script for this two-hour video special, based on his book Hitler’s War. Researching, writing, and revising the book, he spent over thirty years privately interviewing members of Hitler’ staff and his generals. When his book appeared in 1977, it was an instant best-seller, and this film was broadcast many times on PBS in North America, and in countries around the world including Israel. Writing in The Times Literary Supplement in 1980, Sir John Keegan wrote: “Two books in English stand out from the vast literature of the Second World War. Chester Wilmot’s The Struggle for Europe, published in 1952, and David Irving’s Hitler’s War.” The book provides a view of the war from behind Hitler’s desk. Much that was inexplicable becomes clear when seen from the vantage point of the man at

The Future of Books: Mixed Media and Multiple Intelligences

imageI am truly amazed by the amount of cynicism directed by some readers toward e-books, as if their existence were a conspiracy to render traditional books obsolete in the spirit of Fahrenheit 451. Much effort has gone into comparing e-publishing to traditional book publishing. An Internet search for “Will e-books succeed?” brings up numerous passionate articles and blogs dedicated to the concept.
